Fi-Glass fibreglass boats – built with pride!

Find out how NZ’s biggest-selling fibreglass boats are made.

If you’re looking for world-class fibreglass boats that are made in your own backyard, you've come to the right place. We have developed our design and manufacturing skills over 50 years and are now producing the country's biggest-selling fibreglass boats right here in New Zealand.

Our knowledge of the properties of fibreglass, coupled with the very best fibreglass spray equipment enable us to produce strong, robust hulls. This means you get a 6-year structural hull warranty with our motor boats - one of the longest hull warranties offered by any company in the New Zealand boating industry.

Each Fi-Glass boat is laid up by our skilled craftsmen - it is laminated in our moulds, using fibreglass spray guns that ensure an even application - and the correct balance of fibreglass and resin is used to give maximum strength. We use fibreglass stringers, klegecell and closed-cell polyurethane foam and combine them in our production process to give you a very safe, solid fibreglass boat.

After each hull and deck has been weighed and has passed our rigorous quality control checks, the deck moulding is bonded securely in place. At all stages of the finishing process, quality checks ensure that the workmanship and parts are of the highest quality, so that our fibreglass boats stand up to constant use and exposure to the elements.

And there is more: Fi-Glass trailers are also designed for constant usej. They're rugged and strong, and manufactured of quality galvanised steel. Built on site and matched to the hull, they ensure lack of damage whilst on the road.

Here at Fi-Glass we strive for excellence in performance, safety and design. We design and build our fibreglass boats with you, the customer, in mind. The hardest thing for you is choosing which motor boat from our range you’ll go for.

Happy boating!
