Motor boat range, outboard boats & power boats
Find the motor boat that suits you.
Wondering which motor boat to get for the family? Want to compare outboard boats and inboard motors? This guide will help you work out which model of power boats suits your lifestyle and budget.
When it comes to understanding our range of inboard and outboard boats, the rule of thumb is that the longer and wider a boat, and steeper the V, the better the ride. So with this in mind, I’ll give you a quick overview of the power boats in our range.
If you're looking for a family motor boat to take along the coast or to the Marlborough Sounds, the CAVALIER (5.4 m) or slightly longer LIGHTNING (5.8 m) are two great outboard boats with 22-degree V’s and cabins that mean you can sleep overnight on them.
If you're more of a lake person, then the DOMINATOR (5.05 m) is an excellent entry-level motor boat. First built in the 80s, this power boat has an 18-degree V, is constantly being refined and very popular among boaties.
The FIRESTAR (5.35 m) and SENATOR (5.5 m) outboard boats both have a 21-degree V, offer a softer ride and come with lots of extras you don’t normally get with other power boats in this class. Essentially, both the FIRESTAR and SENATOR are the same motor boat but with different decks. The SENATOR has an open deck and a small cabin while the FIRESTAR offers more protection from the elements with a cabin which you can sit in, making it a very popular family boat.
The WARRIOR range is as extensive as it is impressive. Offering both inboard stern-drives or outboard motors, these power boats can be used for fishing or waterskiing.
